Book Study Group "Heart Centered Metaphysics"

1st and 3rd Sundays, 9:30 - 10:30 am

Welcome one and all to our new book study group!  We will be studying Paul Hasselbeck's book "Heart Centered Metaphysics - A Deeper Look at Unity Teachings".  Each week we will read a few pages from the book and have a group discussion.  We will also be using questions from the workbook "Applying Heart-Centered Metaphysics" as an aide in our discussion.  You can drop in as your schedule allows or attend regularly.  You may purchase your own book or group copies will be provided for use during the group.  Kathleen Erickson will be our group facilitator.  Barbara Schafer, Licensed Unity Teacher, will lend her wisdom and support.  It will be held in the parlor.  Love offering accepted.

Weekly Book study group "A Course in Miracles"

Mondays, 2:45 - 4:00 pm
This is an open discussion group. All are welcome.
A Course in Miracles is a book written and edited by Helen Schucman containing a self-study curriculum to bring about what it calls a "spiritual transformation". Schucman believed that an "inner voice", which she identified as Jesus, guided her writing. A Course in Miracles has been described as a unique, universal, self-study spiritual thought system that teaches that the way to Love and Inner Peace is through Forgiveness.
A $10 love offering is suggested. Free parking

Weekly Book Study Group "The Gift of Love"

Thursdays 1:00 to 2:00 pm
Our wonderful Thursday afternoon weekly book study group has selected The Gift of Love by Joel Goldsmith as our next book.  It will be held at in the church Parlor behind the sanctuary.  Joel Goldsmith was a monumental teacher of practical mysticism who wrote over 30 books. This beautiful book, simply yet insightfully, presents the power of Love that can transform ourselves and our world.  Barbara Schafer, APRN, MSN, our Licensed Unity Teacher, leads an informal discussion of how we can apply these powerful, practical teachings to our everyday lives.  You can drop in any week whether you have the book or not to explore this golden opportunity for spiritual growth.
